Looking through Eduard's plans for 2007 is almost daunting... there are just so many projects! The full list can be found in their January newsletter, but I've picked out some of the highlights that caught my eye.


Obviously, the big news this month must be the release of Eduard's upgraded version of AM's classic 1/48 scale Shturmovik, plus the return of Eduard's own Fw 190 A-8 after the initial production run sold out in record time. But there's masses more exciting stuff among the list of January releases.


After years of being on modellers' wants lists, the LaGG-3 is suddenly getting its turn in the limelight. Last year saw the release of South Front's short-run injected kit, but now we have a stunning new model from resin masters Vector.


Continuing Eduard's highly successful policy of giving a new lease of life to Accurate Miniatures kits, the magnificent 1/48 scale IL-2M Shturmovik has been re-boxed with new features to bring it up to the latest standards.
Following the phenomenal success of their Fw 190 series, it was a safe bet that Eduard would have something special up their sleeve for the anticipated Royal Class version. But few could have guessed how unique this kit would turn out to be!
The wait is almost over! Roden look set to have WW1 fans queuing to buy what looks to be one of the most exciting releases of 2007... a 1/32 scale SE5A.
Mushroom’s latest release in the Yellow Series has as its subject the MiG-1/MiG-3, the first modern Soviet fighter aircraft of World War II.
Accurate Armour is rapidly increasing its reputation with a range of vehicles SPECIFICALLY designed for the Aviation Modeller. Now, the company has just annouced two (complete) resin kits in 1/48th scale:
With the weather turning colder, thoughts turn to projects to while away those long winter evenings ahead. Eduard certainly have plenty of new releases to keep aircraft modellers out of mischief!
We normally have to wait for their Newsletter, but Eduard have sent through details of their Aircraft releases for November. No pics - the news is so hot, they haven't got the packshots done yet.
Polish decal manufacturer Techmod have announced an interesting new set of markings for the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2 in Finnish Air Force service.
For those interested in real exotic planes here's a Special Edition kit made by Special Hobby for IPMS Deutschland: a 1/72 scale Hawker Sea Fury TT Mk. 20 "Luftfahrt Beratungsdienst".
Just Plane Stuff are well known in the USA for their range of very nicely done display bases for aircraft in 1:32, 1:48 and 1:72.
A news story over on Hyperscale announces a new manufacturer from Hannants - Xtrakit.
Here is a very interesting new release by MPM: a 1/18 scale B-17 F nose. I think those who like detailed cockpit will love this one.
The latest decal sheets from Techmod should delight Gabby fans everywhere.

Following on from their excellent Grunau Baby II, Polish resin kit producer Ardpol has announced two very interesting new additions to its range.
For those of you interested in the slightly off "main stream". Valom has some new releases of interest.
Wings Models, LLC have announced the re-release of the former Eagles Talon 1/48 scale Titan II-Gemini and Atlas D missile kits. Both kits are cast in moulds made from original Eagles Talon parts masters.
