Introduction

Inspired by real-time reference photos and using his great imagination, creativity and sculpting talent; Vladimir Demchenko makes the best 1/35 scale resin figures for Vietnam War.

I especially like his at-rest posed, relaxed figures reflecting the military daily life in war and so good to see he never stops adding new unique figures to this series.

Latest release of BRAVO*6 B6-35316 Life is Good depicts a US Soldier posed to pee.
Review

  • Kit comes in standard light brown cardboard box labeled with a photo of the painted figure. Body and other parts are served in two transparent zip-lock bags.

Sculpting is clean with sharp details and casting is good with no mistakes. There will be no need for a cleanwork other than removing casting blocks.

  • Posed standing with his legs spread slightly wide open to pee; figure comes as a full body figure with a seperate head. He wears OD undershirt, 3rd pattern tropical combat Trousers with trotters inserted into 2nd pattern leather-canvas combined Jungle boots. Pose, body proportion and uniform details are well sculpted.

  • Head is given as a seperate part which allows the same figure can be used more than one with head replacement for a camp toilet scene. Facial features and just relaxed expression on the face are well defined.

  • Piss tube - There were 2 types of places for toilet issues during Vietnam War. Shitters most with multiple holes with 50 gallon drums underneath and if you just needed to pee, there were Piss tubes around the area. Many were made by pounding old rocket tubes into the ground at an angle, and adding a piece of screen on the top end. In some of the more refined camps, a semicircle of tin would provide a bit of privacy.

  • Dog posed to pee comes in 3 pieces – Body, head and tail. Nice posed and great piece that can be used in many scenes.
  • With his traditional humorous approach, Vladi added 3 pee guns in different calibers to the kit. :)
    Conclusion

Another unique figure from BRAVO*6 with his good pose, nice sculpt and cast. Extras like dog and piss tube are great details to enrich the scene. He can be used in all soldiers at rest or at break vignettes and dioramas. He can be used for many time periods and many different armies.
  • SUMMARY
Useful figure with nice sculpt and clean cast.Soldier posed to pee can be used at camp scenes of many different time periods and armies. Extra pieces like piss tube and dog make it more worthy.
