I sent the website an email asking them about it and this is what they said:

There is one simple answer to your question. Yes, the person who did
the diorama did put a lot of time and care into it, but the reason it looks
so good thanks to "black and white" film. Everything looks cool with B&W.
The water is a product called "Realistic Water" by woodland scenics
(wooc1211$14.98per16oz.). We look forward to hearing from you again!
If you should have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.
Sincerely,
Colpar Hobbies

I don't know why they said it was in B&W, because the pic i saw was in color? Oh well, guess i better get myself some of that stuff!

Howdy all,

If anyone needs anymore information from Colpar Hobbies, I'd be more than happy to oblige. Colpar Hobbies is my local hobby shop, and is 8 minutes from my home. I know most of the people down there, as I am a 'regular', read 'regular spender'.

Try here for a very good how-to on making water. It is one of the better ones I have seen.

Cheers,

Great link Linz. Your right it is one of the better ones I have seen. I think I might try that out if it's not as expensive as i fear it is.
