A big thumbs-up on a really cool idea! You'd need 3 men & a small boy to carry that down to the water.

Very cool diorama . When I read the title of your thread , I thought it was going to be about pushing your tank model around the table top making engine and gun noises. Don't we all do that ? I do

I agree! Very nice build - and subject. The only thing the model builder on the dock is missing is his camera!

Cheers

Very unique.
What did you use for the sub and scale?

Thank you all. Your words are truly encouraging. I had once seen few RC boats enthusiasts playing with their big toys in a local lake her. That was the inception of this idea. Had this 700 scale sub in the stash so thought of using it with a 35 figure. Thr figure is from the tamiya German tank maintenance crew kit with a hornet head. Am hunting for few more such figs to go with it.

Sudeep,

Thank you for this! It is incredible.

Your water looks fine overall. Did you use the chips that melt into 'water' when heated? If so, that might explain why they did not melt completely along the bank.

Wonderful work!

Oh no its not the chips, I used resin. Then decided to make ripples with white gloss acrylic gel and it turned out horrible so had to pour one heavily tinted layer of resin to cover it but somehow the underlying white part is still visible.
