Hello All,

I decided to put my C2 project aside for a while. I Have had this kit in the stash for a while and decided to give it a go. The idea was to build it out of the box.....well thanks to recceboy’s dvd set....that didn’t happen lol.

It started with small corrections and details on the hull and undersurface.......

Then it progressed to scratch building the rear suspension arms.......and the covers for the hydraulic brake lines and the line guides.....

Nice work! Is that a Sharpie marker you used to outline the anti-slip areas? Use caution, I've heard it can bleed through the paint layers and mess things up...

3 more....I started on the driver’s periscope covers and mad new headlight mounting plates....need to add the wiring for the lights...

Hi Roy,

The wiring and hydraulic lines are lead wire from Plus Model.

Jim, thank you for the heads up on the marker. The one I used wasn’t a Sharpy but I will take care when it comes to paint time!!

Great looking work, impressive details. Question: are you planning to correct the rear doors, as the should be flush?
