I am in the planning stages for a diorama that will depict American soldiers finding the Horton flying wing. The 1/32 kit from Zoukei Mura will be used.

I am looking for pics, weblinks, or any reference material that people may have. I have found a few online, but the more the better. The aim is not to be bang on exact depiction of the event.

I would also like interior pics of Luftwaffe Hangars as well...

Thanks in advance!

Greg,
The Military Aviation Museum in Pungo, VA has a Luftwaffe hangar that was disassembled in Germany, transported to the US, and reassembled at the museum. I used to be in the modeling club that meets monthly at the museum and can arrange for them to get you as many photos as you would like. Send me a PM with your email address and I'll pass it on to the club president.

Period pics :

Full size

On a side note, you can find a lasercut cardboard hangar available in 1/32nd scale on eBay (no nationality for this one...)

here

Maybe you could use some parts for your Luftwaffe hangar project ?
