Texan - Hood Division

The figure is 54 mm white metal from Pegaso Models 54-212 Confederate Infantryman, 1862-65. Ian painted it in Citadel acrylics as Texan from Hood Division on the second day of Battle of Gettysburg.

"Defiance" is right...The artist has done well at capturing the demeanor the figure... Couldn't help noticing...The figure bears a strong resemblance to the three dignified but defiant Confederate prisoners photographed just a few days after the battle...I belive those prisoners were membersd of Hood's division...
