1⁄32Henschel Tank Buster
Painting and weatheringOnce all joints are dealt with i primed on black stynelrez. Then i used MRP aluminum and several coats of hairspray for chipping. Then i marble coated painstakingly. I use a Badger Sotar 20/20 and Gunze PS770 along with Mr hobby, MRP, and AK real color paints. This gave me tonal variety and a variance in my marbling. Then i did the same with the blending layers in which I used a Gunze PS290. Then some chipping. After that I sealed it all in with Testors dullcoat and rapid thinner. Then i used the kit decals as i wanted to see how they where. The Ammo of Mig setting solutions beat them down nicely. Then some Tamiya Panel liners and oils and I was ready for the bits and pieces.
Final OutfittingAfter painting the canopy i applied needed decals and sealed it in with dullcoat. Then I built and painted the props. Small antenna bits , pitot, and gunsite and we where getting there. I used rubber black on the tires and then painted the bombs. For all guns i used buffable dark iron and gave them a rub to bring the metallic out. I used an AK acrylic set to rust up the exhausts and black and "starship filth" oils to make some exhaust streaking.
